Sharon McComb, the President of Historic Watertown and an avid supporter of TPT is issuing a challenge to all of the historical organizations and societies, Main Streets programs, and certified local governments to match their support of $200.00 in recognition of the Columbia Conference and the legislative lobbying efforts of TPT. She believes that all of the 50+ partner programs that celebrate Tennessee's architectural heritage, and promote smart growth, community heritage, downtown revitalization, rural landscape preservation, and heritage tourism should rally around the opportunity to further our collective cause by supporting TPT. In particular, Sharon recognizes Cornerstones of Chattanooga and Ann Gray, and The Heritage Foundation of Franklin and Williamson County and Mary Pearce, for their financial support and local leadership in promoting the statewide efforts of TPT. As she said, "We should all rally around this opportunity to promote the legacy and conservation of Tennessee's cultural and architectural heritage."
TPT sincerely appreciates the support of Cornerstones, The Heritage Foundation of Franklin and Williamson County, and Historic Watertown. Our work would not be possible without this support. With the collective efforts of all of our communities the impact on Tennessee’s historic sites will accomplish more than we can imagine. To accept this challenge and donate $200 to support the statewide preservation conference and TPT's ongoing lobbying efforts, contact TPT at (615) 963-1255 or tnprestr@bellsouth.net. Thank you!
